The new fleet will consist of ten purpose-built river ships (two will launch in 2027), designed to blend Celebrity’s ocean style with the unique opportunities of river travel.

The ship design will draw inspiration from the brand’s popular Edge Series of ocean ships, which are known for their contemporary, open-plan spaces and sleek interiors.

Onboard, guests can expect locally inspired cuisine, with menus reflecting the regions the ships sail through. Culinary experiences will be paired with Celebrity’s signature hospitality, which focuses on attentive service and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The new river fleet is set to sail through some of Europe’s most iconic destinations, with the 2027 itineraries on the Danube and Rhine. Excursions will focus on cultural immersion, local food and wine, and scenic highlights.

Celebrity will be a new premium player in the river cruise market, aiming to appeal to both existing river cruise fans and ocean cruise guests looking to try something different. The blend of well-established brand recognition and fresh innovation is likely to attract attention when bookings open.
